The brain fade, though quite recently named thus, is an affliction that's been around in Australian cricket circles for quite some time. In the below video you'll see Justin Langer suffer the aforementioned affliction, as he slyly and very deliberately tips off a bail, and looks on innocently as the rest of the team appeals for hit-wicket. Yes, yes, it's the same bloke who's been appointed coach in the aftermath of the ball tampering business. Looks like another case of hit-wicket, doesn't it?
